Before the introduction of mobile phones, students used to send messages or communicate through telephones. When mobile phones were invented, it became much easier to contact people living far away from our places. With more and more students having mobile phones, it is undoubted that mobile phones have brought some benefits to people.
First of all, communication is much easier and faster with the aid of mobile phones. While lettere may take days or even weeks to reach the parent or student, you can just call someone in second with mobile phone. If you know the number of the person you want to call, then it becomes very easy to make a call. Making an overseas call is also easy and fast using mobile phones. These days, you can use the 3G-cal to see what the person you are talking to is doing.

Next, mobile phones, or cell phones, enables students to send text-messages, a useful service that is popular not only among young people but also adults. Although limited to a number of characters, text message is often cheaper than making a phone call or send fax. If you want to send short information, or get to know what your friends are doing, then you can just text them. With higher phones, you can also send pictures, voices and other multi-media files within your message.

With this many students acquiring new types of cell phones which offer many facilities and services, it is clear, as we can see, that mobile phones have provided school children with many advantages.
