On September 12, 2023, a rising star fell from the musical sky in Nigeria. Mohbad, whose real name is Ilerioluwa Oladimeji Aloba, was reported to have died in suspicious circumstances. However, the Lagos State Police Command has exhumed his body on September 21, 2023, and an autopsy has been carried out to determine the actual cause of his death.

Also known as “Imole”, Mohbad was a Nigerian musician who lived from June 8, 1996, to September 12, 2023. He was born in Ketu, Lagos State, Nigeria. He was recognized all over the world as a rapper, best known for his hit singles “Ponmo, Feel Good”, and “KPK (Ko Por Ke)” (You Will Always Be Remembered) with Rexxie which was nominated three times for The Headies awards 2022.
