Oh mother!
You are the light;
the embers that brightens my dark enclave of hope.
You kept me warm and enclosed me in you.
You birthed me through pains and said I was a gain.
You made me a talent for others to view.

Oh Mother!
You took care of me as if I was an egg.
You gave me home that my heart craved for.
Your smiles built a mansion of seriousness that guided me in school.
You patted my soul and made me feel blue.

Oh Mother!
I got used to all the fragrances built in you.
Then, then!
You left and never you returned!
Time frowned at me as I drowned in loneliness.
I breathe my last in hope that your smile will send down its hands to save me.

Oh Mother!
With your image I painted prayers on the lips,
That,
May Allah forgive your shortcomings,
and grant you jannatul Firdausi.
Oh Mother!
I love you much and will forever do.
