The outbreak of coronavirus has introduced lot of developments around the world and specifically, Nigeria is not excluded. The case of COVID_ 19 as it appears has made clear of some questions that were not likely to be known by some Nigerians.
Nigerians have been asking questions regarding how would some functions be executed, mode of operations and the bodies in charge. In Nigeria, a body was distinctively founded with the responsibility of fight against diseases and its kinds by treating patients and other related activities.
Nigerians often ask the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control questions like:” Who leads the response at state level, Who is responsible for setting up testing centres in state level, Whose responsibility is to establish and accredit testing laboratories and many more questions in which Why is Nigeria not using rapid test kits” is inclusive.

This kind of scenario does not help Nigeria operations against COVID_ 19 but rather, it adds to the emerging health crisis. Considering that Human errors could occur while making a quick and rapid test is another determiner to address, thoroughly made test is preferable in Nigeria.
Eventually, the NCDC provides guidelines on how laboratories should operate in Nigeria and currently, 26 active and accredited testing laboratories are now available all over Nigeria. These testing laboratories nurture the responsibility of collecting samples in line with the laid down guidelines made by the NCDC.
