Nigeria Is United By Mutual Hatred, Lies And Deceit -By Great Imo Jonathan

If we are truthful to ourselves, we can all agree that Nigeria is not one. The only thing that makes us one is crude oil. We have been harbouring hatred for each other but endured our hypocrisy because there was Niger Delta oil money to share.

I don’t have a problem with people maintaining their culture or religion. But how about people also keeping their resources to themselves?

Because it appears that Nigerians are not ready to live as one. People are denied freedom of association, freedom of expression and even freedom to eat at their own convenience because of where they come from; though within the same country.

Hence, we are indirectly asking that we all control our enclaves, Lord our religion and cultures over others who come to live with us and may be keep our resources to ourselves and come to each other as visitors.

But it appears we can no longer pretend about our mutual hatred. But for oil, there would have been 5 countries instead of Nigeria. And I am no longer doubting the possibility with each passing day.

We are now a country of deceits and hyper hypocrisy. We hate people who are not from our tribe even though we are of the same country. What we have in common is hatred for each other and the money that comes from oil producing states. There is no national dream and many of those who claim to love Nigeria, especially our leaders are high class hypocrites, because their actions are antithetical to national unity and progressive development.
