Nigeria my beloved country, a place where things are not common, a country where unworthy govern the worthy. A nation that nominates sons/daughters of the privileged few over the unprivileged many.
A nation that gives bribes as a daily manner, corruption has now become the order of the day, eating deep into our system like cancer. A nation that consists of different ethnic groups and instead of us to love and appreciate our differences, we relate with hatred to other tribes and only tend to render assistance and job employment to only people from your ethnic group.

The nation practices consanguinities in the system of governing the people and this affect the nation where more qualified people are sidelined just because they are not connected to the big names in the society. This has increased the rate at which the menace of, ”Man know Man”, policies have plagued the nation is becoming alarming.

Nigeria gives no room for young competent citizens in the system of governing instead we keep having people that have ruled us coming back into power. People that are supposed to have become elder statesmen, sitting back and giving advice to the younger ones where necessary. An example is a French president, he is among the young presidents in the history of France and he has been doing exploit beyond imagination. One thing about those old leaders Is that they use the old knowledge to direct the nation not wanting to know that the world is evolving and technological advancement is taking place on a daily basis.

Nigeria, a place where priorities are misplaced and possibly displaced. I see no reason why a man that studies Agricultural Economics will be made minister of Education when there are millions of more qualified graduates in that field that are wandering around the street looking for jobs. We don’t value what we have. We prefer those that have gone abroad to study over the ones that studied here and that is why our educational system is going down the drain gradually because the children of the people in power go abroad to study, they’ll graduate and still come back to rule over us.

Until we realize we are one, we cannot actually build a country that can be called developed in the real sense because division, corruption, greed, hatred will always drag us back instead of moving us forward to achieve greatness.

I write this with pain in my heart, I have a lot of other things to say but I’ll stop for a while.
