Nigeria Youths in Politics Elect a New Southwest Directorate

Olufowobi Desmond Emerged as Vice-President Southwest of Nigeria Youths in Politics (NYP).

The Apex Youth Leadership Advocacy Group, Nigeria Youths in Politics (NYP) National Executive Council affirm the Election of Comrade Olufowobi Olarewaju Desmond as the Executive Vice-President Southwest west directorate.

This decision was reached during the end of the year National Executive Closed Session Meeting which held at the Nation’s capital on the Tuesday 21st December 2021.

Following the voice vote to fill in the vacuum for the position of Southwest directorate coordinator, two-third of the NEC members voted in Favour of Comerade Olufowobi Olarewaju Desmond as the Vice President Southwest of the Youth Organization.

In a move to reposition the organization effectiveness ahead of the next electoral cycle in 2023, the Executive Director/ President of Nigeria Youths in Politics Hon. FBI Oyefeso task every member of the organization to rekindle their passion in serving the nation vigorously.

We have been working all year round to support the government by making policy contributions and recommendations to relevant government agencies as well as collaboration with various organizations across the nation, said Hon. Oyefeso.

On the emergence of Comerade Olufowobi as the Southwest Vice President, Dr. Samuel Adeleye the Chairman of NYP reassured his optimism that The Comrade Olufowobi Desmond is capable to discharge his duties as the coordinator of the Southwest directorate, “Olufowobi is a dogged young man with zeal, commitment and capacity to bring together every youth stakeholders in the Southwest region of Nigeria”

The newly elected head for Southwest Directorate pedigree as a youth activist speaks louder for him as the right candidate to spare head the organization activities in Lagos, Ogun, Oyo, Ondo, Osun and Ekiti state.

In an acceptance address for the responsibility vested on the new elected Vice President for Southwest directorate of Nigeria Youths in Politics (NYP), Comrade Olufowobi Olarewaju Desmond disclosed to revealed that he shall be conveying A one day Youth Stakeholders Conference in Alimosho Local Government on the 27th December 2021, with Theme; Redeeming The Nation Political Space, Through Youth Participation.
