Stay at home is what the government said but yet has the government kept their own part of the bargain? No!!! They are locked up in their gold houses and telling those in the mud buildings that they are living fine. To me, this is the period that shows our wicked Nigerians can be to themselves.

Many will say it is the government alone yet ordinary citizens have proved more evil than those in the corridor of power. There was a pronounced lockdown in Lagos and Abuja yet with a little bribe, the members of the law enforcement will allow any car to move in and out and you don’t see that as wickedness against humanity.

There were several cases of people who denied their traveling histories to medical practitioners only for them to get into critical conditions and are diagnose with the virus, exposing the doctors, nurses and fellow patients in the hospital to danger. I see that as wickedness of the highest order.

Three days ago, a new case was discovered in Ondo State. The victim was an airport official who was positive to the virus, was drove from Lagos by officials of the airport, instead of them to take him to the isolation centre in Lagos, they brought him to Akure and instead of them calling the authority of the Ondo state to inform them about the man, they brought him home to his family thereby exposing the family and people in vicinity and you don’t see that as wickedness on the part of the official that brought him and the person himself.

Nigerians are meant to help themselves but in this case we have made up our minds to be harmful to our brothers. Please I will beg my fellow Nigerians to be our brothers keepers, say the truth when you are asked about your travel history and any symptoms to medical professionals. And also the law enforcement agencies should please be diligent with their duties by not allowing movement in and out of places under the federal government lockdown. In addition, report any suspected cases or returnees to be examined.
