NLC President Joe Ajaero regains freedom after 1hr interrogation

Remember that last week, Ajaero was invited by the police to come to the IRT offices by 10 a.m. on August 20 to respond to inquiries regarding his suspected involvement in cybercrime, financing of terrorism, subversion, criminal conspiracy, and treasonable offense.

Joe Ajaero, the president of the Nigeria Labour Congress, was granted permission to leave after spending an hour with agents under the direction of a deputy commissioner of police on Thursday at the Police Intelligence Response Team (IRT) headquarters in Abuja.

Ajaero, who arrived at precisely 10:17 am and left at 11:17 am after composing his statement, only grinned while avoiding conversation with the reporters at the IRT headquarters.

He committed to speaking with the media at NLC headquarters.

Remember that last week, Ajaero was invited by the police to come to the IRT offices by 10 a.m. on August 20 to respond to inquiries regarding his suspected involvement in cybercrime, financing of terrorism, subversion, criminal conspiracy, and treasonable offense.

The NLC President could however, not make it, due to already scheduled obligations but promised to honour the invitation today.

He was accompanied to the IRT headquarters by Senior Advocate of Nigeria, SAN, Mr. Femi Falana,, Avctivist, My Deji Adeyanju, Marshal Abubakar, and top officials of the NLC
