NNPCL Reports N185bn Profit for July 2025, Remits N7.9tn to FG in First Half of the Year

The Nigerian National Petroleum Company Limited (NNPCL) has declared a profit after tax of N185 billion for the month of July 2025, according to its Monthly Report Summary released Thursday night.

The company also reported a monthly revenue of N4.4 trillion and confirmed it has remitted a total of N7.9 trillion to the Federal Government between January and June 2025.

In terms of production output, NNPCL revealed that its average daily crude oil and condensate production stood at 1.7 million barrels, while average gas production reached 7.722 million standard cubic feet per day.

On gas infrastructure, the company announced major progress on two strategic pipeline projects:

  • The Ajaokuta-Kaduna-Kano (AKK) gas pipeline has reached 83% completion, with additional subcontractors mobilized to accelerate mainline construction.
  • The Obiafu-Obrikom-Oben (OB3) gas pipeline is 96% complete, with a revised execution strategy in place to speed up the River Niger crossing.

NNPCL added that a 113-kilometre section of the OB3 pipeline has already been commissioned and is currently delivering 300 million standard cubic feet of gas per day. The gas supply is sourced from AHL (250 mmscf/d) and Platform, Chorus, and Xenergi (50 mmscf/d).
