Religion as a tool can become violent, either by verbal or physical, no matter the blocs of faith one belongs to if the discuss of supremacy should arises.
How peaceful is any religion if one would authoritatively condemn anyone to a religious hell, or bluntly state that anyone who fails to desist from an evil act would reincarnate to would reincarnate to a cow.

Perhaps this is why it is imperative to say that whatever bloc of faith anyone belongs, even if one chooses not to believe, no idea of God is supreme.
Religion as a whole or a lack of it has always being to prove the existence of a god or its non-existence, and any of these ideologies are always aimed to be passed on from a generation to another. Some even are on a missionary journey to convert anyone to their religion, even to convince anyone that their idea of a god couldn’t be real.

The route of atheism isn’t alien. It’s a road you need to read a lot to support to support the augment in the defense against the existence of God. Without proper study, ones argument would be flawed whenever you are faced in any discuss with a theist.

Similarly, from my religion assigned at birth, I read the Bible, study, listen to discussions, just to be indoctrinated about the existence of a God, and to believe that only the God of the Jews is supreme.
Whether I chose to be remain the formal or later, it is a choice and dogmatism-which is an unflinching resolution never to be convinced otherwise.

Even as a free thinker who is supposedly opened to other beliefs, yet, there is a no denial that one has a prior belief in which the freethinker will judge any argument. This belief too isn’t supreme.

What many religion of the world fails to realize is the subject of a God in discourse and the fight is on a course for a supremacy, by followers of the many religions. A pure case of humans using the idea of their God or a lack of it to verbally and physical victimize those who are not on their sides. The worst are the extremists.

Hinduism for an example believe you can access God though the many available religions, but I doubt if worshiping your God in your Hindu way may make one less or more Hindu ?

As a Yoruba by tribe, the concept of the African religion relishes me a lot even though its principles and processions have been termed fetish.

Olodumare- translated as God the divine ( perhaps not the best name to encompass his attributes), is the supreme being who has given minor duties to other Orisas ( don’t translate them as gods , idols or graven image) who also rely on the words of Ifa, for their daily undertaking. And Olodumare can be accessed through the principles of Ifa. Do note that my deliberate capitalization of these Yoruba deities is a simple fact that what is good for the geese is good for the gander- the good here is my deliberate capitalization.

Even some parts of America continent now practices the African religion, a religion they got to know through slavery. A similar way Christianity came to Africa, and whatsoever reason a native picks the African religion over their initial assigned religion is a pure dogma, and this shows that any religion or a lack of it is infectious, when their values, freedom, benefits, procedures are checked .

However, the most painful part of the Yoruba African religion is simply their lack of documentation. Even if, this wouldn’t make their idea of God still supreme.

Christianity, a newly fond religion by Nigerians is another religion where its worshipers mostly claim a supremacy. The God of the Jews must be the only God for the whole world. What if we never knew about the God of the Jews? Would millions of Africans perish?

Christianity, a religion supposedly brought by the European in which many elite Nigerians and mostly Nigerian atheist have seen as a religion of slavery. A tool to colonize the Nigerians and the major reason why many Nigerians are nitwits.

The Bible contains the history of the Jews, their myths, origins, and a push of what and how their God is like and what he would grant anyone who believes in him, even his supposedly wanton offer to the world at large.

Similarly, Islam is another religion on a quest for the idea of the God supremacy with its different propagandas. Even though these particularly sect do not knock on doors to preach this message of peace, they are not tried to sing sung that “Allah is the Greatest”, and me think a war should be violent-less if it is tagged holy.

Lastly, all religion is man’s way to see God, feel God, and commune with God. And the adaption of a God of a people or a tribe is an indirect adaptation of their culture, belief, and most importantly their myths. Even though this very idea and reason might be laughable, God is a succor to many, and no one should take this or make anyone feel less logical. No idea or a lack (the defense against the idea of a God) of it is supreme remember?

The purpose of any religion is for Identity, focus and a spiritual fortification, and a lack of it is also for identity, a focus and a logical / scientific fortification, which too is an absolute dogma, because one need a constant read, association in order not to be seen as a shallow believer or a disbeliever.
