Man City manager Pep Guardiola has declared that no team will achieve the feat of winning four consecutive Premier League titles or amass 100 points in a single season during his “lifetime.”

Guardiola made the bold claim ahead of Man City’s crucial clash against current league leaders Liverpool on Sunday.

The reigning champions have faced difficulties this season after securing the title four times in a row.

With their hopes of Champions League glory dashed by Real Madrid this week, their best shot at silverware now lies in the FA Cup.

Speaking with Neil Warnock on Sky Sports, Guardiola stated: “No one is going to win [with] 100 points, and four-in-a-row in the Premier League.

“It’s not going to happen in my lifetime, I’m sorry!”

Man City’s historic 100-point campaign in the 2017-18 season remains unmatched in the Premier League.
