OAU lecturer get thank you gifts for ‘exceptional dedication’

Students of Obafemi Awolowo University (OAU) have presented gifts to their lecturer identified as Dr Olagunju.

A video of the moment has gone viral on social media.

In the video, a male student approaches Olagunju and hands him bottled water. The lecturer accepts it and places it on a desk in front of him. Immediately, other students start coming out with their gifts.

Olagunju was overwhelmed by the outpouring of love.

The video was shared on TikTok by user #doxaleey with the caption, “We wanted to express our heartfelt gratitude to Dr. Olagunju for his exceptional dedication and hard work this semester, and we couldn’t come up with a better idea than this.

“Despite the challenges of teaching Parts 1-4 alone, Dr. Olagunju has consistently demonstrated his commitment to our education and well-being. His efforts have not gone unnoticed, and we’re deeply appreciative of the positive impact he’s had on our learning experience.
