Of Nigerian Parents; About Their Contribution In Building The New Nigeria -By Abubakar Muhammad Usman
In my conclusive request, are the same parents must I remind, about your same children. If you built a better generation is for all the country, while letting them go the other side is still for all the country. We need the Nigeria of our dreams to exist in the near future, sooner, but if only you, parents, take part in fulfilling our long awaited dreams.

A son am I to you too, parents. I wish to offer but an open letter to you about how thirsty we have been in our communities, about our building new Nigeria. You, parents, are the mirrors through whom we look upon and hope change through you to come; through training your children in such a way that our dreams of peaceful, united country shall behold.
But, I see failures in this our very country! What hinders our long awaited dreams of having a well constructed country full of peace and unity is nothing but what behaviours our new generation undergoes, and how they affect our homeland in any way or the other. As a parents of a particular population like Nigeria, you have a lots to offer in letting the changes to break into reality.
As a parent, many of you have been on the same thought that, it is perturbing your children at early ages to start purseing them into the grammar of life. But, psychological perspective shows that, a child finishes learning from the seventh year of his life about social characters. Then, if any society wants to grow responsible generation, what parents take as disturbing their children about what they are yet to learn should be parked aside. Children need a vigilance care from the early ages of their life, is only what will build them on the right path of societal value.
Children need to be educated while it leads them to know their values. That is, they will not take part in any repugnant acts like drugs abuse, stealth or get involved in any domestic violence, especially political thuggery. Through knowledge only, I believe, youths would be responsible from being wanting in the aforementioned repulsive acts. In our country a peace shall reign if only we have a well trained generation. I know, parents are the only remedy in this part, training younger once to be educated.
As we all know, a peaceful place is the only place where unity shall be found. If you, parents, have built a better generation, the unity we have been yearning for shall too be reign in our the same country. And, before building the peaceful generation that will lead to unity, parents are the same contributors. Because, these children through whom we want to place our dreams upon, need a deeper guidance in knowing the burdens of that so called unpeacefulness. In the same vein, parents are you who we shall direct our plans unto, because you have to put your children aside of you; should be only school time will separate you, because any abnormal behaviour is taught in the town, not from the same parents.
