On Achaba (Okada) Ban In Bauchi State -By Abdulrahman Yunusa

Okada ban 2

As how poverty, hunger and unemployment are ravaging our baby developing state due to the current nature of global economy, so, if govt can’t afford create more source of income to its people through wealth creation programs then i don’t think she will go any length to block the ones they are fighting through to earn a living.

Seriously I don’t see the logic behind ” Okada Ban ” in Bauchi because even the NAPEP they want us to patronize are now becoming something else, they have being so eager to exploit us through expensive transport fare at this hazy moment of economic crisis, yet expecting us to keep mum at the expense of our hardship, honestly we can’t.

We have to voice our pitiable voices out or the targeted authority may find it something worthy to be considered by them. Actually, not all from the side of Okada service patronizers but from the side of the innocent Okada men. Those people are going through an unbearable and miserable condition looking at their situation at hand now.

And as we know the nature of society one will find out that most of them are married men with at least 3 to 4 kids and imagine putting a blockage to their source of income, govt should have a rethink to this move for the setback we are recording regarding human development is likely looming large.

Where actually do our government want them go in order to carter for themselves a living? I think something tangible should be done to help the state to escape the anger of unemployed youth. I said this because I know not everyone will exercise the patience of sitting and seeing his own family starving, dying or being pauperized.

Its obvious that some will surely find a way out to their financial problems regardless of pondering about the legality of the alternative while Most of them must look for a better valid alternate to which they can engage and cater for themselves and their families, so what do you think if their struggle remain futile, hotter days ahead. I guess, god forbid.

And it’s open to all that when hunger strike, rate of crime also goes high. So, in order to cope with the situation Mr Governor Bala Kaura should do us a favor by absorbing the rest of Okada men in to something that will ease their pains and to save the city from the future devilish visitors. No one want social vices but when poverty rate keep rising up then it’s inevitable social vices will take over the society.

However, it’s not necessary and it’s totally uncalled for, to give any dimwit who is trying to disrupt our peace in the society an excuse for being deprived of his right, that will not be supported or tolerated but at least govt should as a matter of urgency equip them with what will cajole them to embrace the unfavorable condition with good faith.

And for the Media armies ( Yan Kare Muradu ) please, I beg you God name, the omnipotent and omnipresent to please don’t flatter Governor alone while celebrating his 2 years in leadership throne try as much as you can to call his attention to such issues, people are suffering and the outcry shouldn’t be neglected by any responsible leader.

Though I believe Kaura is Empathic and sympathetic to some extent but covering his face from the reality will cost him more politically and socially. The respect he use to earn from his people shall go in vain so his political relevance if care is not taken he will lose it to the detriment of his anti talakawa policies.

Meanwhile, it could also be a welcoming gesture if you cleverly inform Mr Governor about the current nature of our economy. Markets are running down except food stuff sellers, there is shortage money in circulation in the town to which it genesis is the failure of govt to pay the workers salaries at due time. Let him adjust in that aspect, please.

Moreover, to say Kaura has done nothing is injustice at it zenith, advise him to keep the tempo with ultimate gusto in beautifying both metropolis and the localities with his infrastructural developmental policies. He is trying massively at that particular aspect. He is doing well, none can refute that aspect.

And as I use to say, in respect to pensioners his excellency have to do something tangible because some of them are dying without receiving their legal rewards for service the state with utmost sincerity.

Finally, I do wish, his further achievement will touch every angle of our lives and I hope he will achieve more in the remaining two years of his tenure to come. May the years of his reign be more fruitful to his citizens than the the one we witnessed so far.

May Bauchi succeed
May Bala succeed
