On Being Skeptic While Extracting The Truth -By Abdulrahman Yunusa

Skepticism imbibe the spirit of inquisitiveness in mans psyche. As it involuntarily enable wise men to embark a voyage of a millions miles just to look for the ultimate truth from the ambiguous sources to which all they appear to be valid from their outer shape. So until we scrutinize carefully we will never escape from the trap of devil.

Until now I realize that shielding yourself with strong faith through having rigorous religious knowledge from revered and well grounded jurist and sheikhs who obtained their Ijazas through traditional system of scholarship is what often makes people firm to their religions amidst tumultuous moment of dubiousness and mixed thoughts.

Perhaps, its true that there is nothing shambolic in wallowing in abyss of doubt for being in the cave of uncertainty skepticism and having a perplexed mind at same time while seeking a truth from text, itplays a viral role in changing someone psyche positively. It also makes someone to be well knowledgibly equiped

However, a times some fall a victim of doubt when they are not well grounded in the basic religious knowledge as Malam Abdulrashid Adamu Maijuma’a in his recent philosophical epistle while trying to educate the world the negative impact of diving in to the sea of textual scrutiny from the philosophical angle to which the majority of it pioneers are not but atheist or agnostic.

So let’s seek from the true custodian of knowledge, a treasure that will makes our souls shine to the fullest and makes our deeds be excellently sumptuous to an extent that we would be spiritually metamorphosing from human to human humans while having social and religious affairs with people of our side and to strangers.

And note this please, skepticism in the realm of knowledge helps tremendously in making people of wisdom to be more intelligent and supportive mostly at a moment of intellectual discourse. Then, while perusing through textual contents we shouldn’t be siding our Aql ( Sense ) aside because what gives valid judgment at a moment of truth finding is our conscience and what help us in differentiating good from bad is our ability to reason well.

Therefore without the help of true application of common sense in the hazy moment of choosing right from wrong, distinguishing white from black and curable from harmful, then we would always be arriving at wrong destination for the fact that we would end of being accepting and glorifying fake and worthless ideas in the name of dogmatism.

Meanwhile with that precious logic of reasoning, we can go extensively go through all these religions, sectss and mazahibs extensively and quench our thirst of knowledge without getting our minds being corrupt with the toxic ideas which are lies therein. And with that idea we can be able to improve our cognitive bank with lots of experience from different angles of life.

Lastly, its a crystal truth that from the ocean dubiousness and uncertainty we mostly found the treasure which positively change our lives makes us to be comprehensive, educative, lovable and intellectually impressive. And only few with feeble mindset get drawn in black hole of ignorance while partaking in the journey of figuring the golden treasure while the rest with colorful fortune achieve their desired goal.

May we sail through every gloomy and murky oceans and may we all be guided .
