On The Fiasco In Bauchi State House Of Assembly -By Tajuddeen Ahmad Tijjani

The Constitution is clear on elected members defection to other parties. There must be internal disharmony in one’s own party before they could have the license to defect somewhere else.

It’s therefore the failure of Uba Nana’s APC leadership that causes all these. He couldn’t manage the party well, which is very appalling, being the leader of the biggest opposition in Bauchi State he should be up and doing. Unfortunately, the opposite is the case.

If Governor Bala, knows his onions and could be able to lobby them to leave and join his party the PDP. I will commend his permutations as a true democrat, because this is what politics is all about – addition and subtraction.

For those who already decamped and the potential decampees, they are free to decamp to any party as far as it suit their interest as far as I am concerned. The chances of APC come 2023 is still high with or without their input. But they should know betrayal never pays.

Have we already forgotten how state members of the 6th assembly impeached late Garba Gadi who put his principles before politics. Where are they now?

Believe me, some of them couldn’t even afford their basic needs talkless of to contest any election in their various constituencies ever again. karma has catch them unprepared due to their betrayal.
