Osinbajo Visits Fayose Ahead of 65th Birthday, Praises Him as “Resilient and Steadfast”

Former Vice President Prof. Yemi Osinbajo on Tuesday paid a courtesy visit to former Ekiti State Governor Ayodele Fayose at his Lagos residence, ahead of Fayose’s 65th birthday celebration scheduled for November 15, 2025.

Osinbajo described Fayose as “a resilient and steadfast Nigerian who doggedly pursues whatever he believes in,” while congratulating him in advance on his forthcoming birthday.

The former Vice President explained that he chose to visit before the actual date because he would be unavailable during the celebration.

During the visit, both leaders shared warm pleasantries and discussed national issues. Osinbajo commended Fayose’s courage and consistency throughout his public service career.

In response, Fayose expressed gratitude for the visit, calling it “a mark of respect and genuine friendship that transcends political boundaries.”
