…since the onset of his public declaration of ambition, Champion Mojeed Okedara has been ernomously receiving a huge support and massive turn up from the people, as many of his followers were seen both on and off Media, canvassing for the validation of their aspirant’s candidature.
“The position of authority needs nothing but a passionate leader, someone who is ready to take a course to serve humanity, and to take this mantle requires a call to serve humanity/meet the people’s populace demand and I am ready to take the race” – Mojeed Okedara.
According to him, an Ex WBO champion and a Florida, USA based Oyo born showed the truest intent amid his interest to vie for the seat of Oyo State Governorship poll. This was stated in the video of 1hr plus he made and posted on the platform of ‘OLUGBEJA MEKUNNU 2023 CAMPAIGN GROUP”, where he talked extensively on the problems lots of people are facing in Oyo state and Nigeria at large and as well stated some solutions, too.
He further said in the video that ” the current system we’re practicing in Nigeria does not in any way favor the masses, the aspirants inclusive. Imagine a chairman aspirant in one political group was told by the elders of the group that, before he’ll be given the mantle, he had to settle his scores with, to start with party leader, chairman, secretary, youth leader, members and some necessary personnel in the town/city, and as you know, this won’t go empty handed, but rather with lot of spendings, and however, he(The Aspirant) later felt jilted and disappointed at the very end. And that is why a support and endorsement should come directly from the people without buying their conscience with money.”

At the time of filing this report, their first ever physical meeting was held at Oyo township, Nigeria on Saturday 15th of January, 2022 at their Newly-opened office, located at Rufuk Akinola Building, Opposite Baptist Church, Alagbon, Owode Oyo,Oyo State, Nigeria, where the agenda of the meeting includes; introduction of the members, the main cause of the meeting, AOB, etc. The pictures taken at the meeting venue shows over 20 members on attendance.
