Peter Obi Is Not Ready For Aso Rock -By Martin White-Ufuah

As the media further engages Peter Obi in the coming days ahead of the campaign season, you guys will see how incompatible his ambition is with our political realities.

Peter Obi

Peter Obi in his Arise TV interview said that he would replicate in Nigeria what he did in Anambra as governor.

As for me, there’s nothing on ground in Anambra State as hallmarks of Obi’s administration. This is not being biased towards his presidential ambition.

If I’m wrong, please put me in the know; tell me one local earner for Anambra traceable to Mr. Obi’s administration.

I prefer what was achieved in Cross River State between 1999-2007 under Donald Duke replicated in Nigeria.

We all witnessed the socio-economic importance of the Calabar Carnival and Obudu holiday resort /Cattle Ranch on the economic development of Cross River State.

The carnival became a foreign exchange earner for the State until Ben Ayade came to undo the works of his predecessors.

So, as a country we can explore other ways of bringing the world down to our doorsteps. Obi didn’t bring the world down to Anambra. But Donald Duke did.

This is the time for many of you guys to stop this peer pressure political solidarity and begin to ask serious engaging questions.

As the media further engages Peter Obi in the coming days ahead of the campaign season, you guys will see how incompatible his ambition is with our political realities.

He does not possess the political wand, have the economic dexterity and know the route out of the present security and economic woes that betide us.

Obi is on a winding course, enjoying the euphoria of social media trends.

The right questions to Obi is all you need to eavesdrop his inadequacy. We don’t need the flip side of a Buhari who rode to power on the premise of a ‘wash-wash’ overrated integrity.

As a journalist, give me just ten minutes to interview Peter Obi and he would be countering himself and exposing his inadequacies.

Our best bet as far as 2023 is concerned still remains Sowore! Sowore is not preparing to be president. He is prepared. The African Action Congress, AAC, has an economic blueprint on how to bail Nigeria out of its present economic and security quagmire.

Please rethink your stance with Peter Obi and align with our team as we seek to fix Nigeria. Join the ready team – Sowore 2023!
