Prophet Ebuka Obi of Zion Ministry distance self from woman who claimed she purchased a house worth ₦500 million

“Do I know her? Does any member know her? She came to testify, just like hundreds of others who come here daily. If the house she claimed to own is fake, then she lied before God and His altar—not the ministry. We are going to trace the girl,” he affirmed.

Prophet Ebuka Obi of Zion Prayer Movement Outreach has distanced himself and his ministry from a woman who falsely claimed in a testimony that she purchased a house worth ₦500 million.

In a viral video circulating on social media, the cleric denied any personal connection to the woman, emphasizing that she lied against God, not the church.

Speaking during the Night of Open Heaven program, Obi clarified that he had no prior relationship with her, explaining that she was among the many individuals who come forward daily to share testimonies.

“I said it last month that my name would be all over the media, that the media would be shaking, making it look real—but it’s all fake,” Obi stated.

He also alleged that a clergyman from the East had sponsored bloggers to amplify the controversy.

“Do I know her? Does any member know her? She came to testify, just like hundreds of others who come here daily. If the house she claimed to own is fake, then she lied before God and His altar—not the ministry. We are going to trace the girl,” he affirmed.
