Real Men Don’t Rape (Part 1) -By Mustapha Abdullateef (M.M)

Rape in RCCG

Yes, I regretted ever being involved in such an heartache act when many men believe it’s just a mere temptation while some register it as a devil handiwork. Many man whose penis raises uncontrollable may perhaps lost his manship.

It was past 9pm and was a friendly atmosphere; the irresistible weather for two. I couldn’t stop the tone of the noiseless air but my body wish for a little worm to help the sleepy eyes to travel in peace.

I stood in my “other room” like a statue, many thoughts began rambling in my head and my joystick kicks frequently.

“Grin, grin, grin,” my phone rings and the caller was no other but a female friend whom for years; that I had tried to delve into her heart but futile.
“Hello – Kayode.”
“Hi – Salima, it been weeks fa! So, you remember me today? Ojo maró o”
“Kayode, please this isn’t a matter of ojo maró, are you at home?” She enquired.
“Of course, I’m at home” I snapped.”

I reorganised my sitting room, fixup my other room with some nose food and my room scents sweet.

Salima is my age friend who trusted me more than she does at her fiancé. Why? I was a mind blower; when I talk she laughs, she feels cool and attracted to my voice. She often forgets her sorrow but she do resist any unwanted act that frequently sparkle when ever she pays me visit. Who knows why she insisted on dating a “broke nigga” when I have all she desires.

“Kon kon kon” I heard a door knocked  and I knew she was the one. I dash at the door to let her in. She felt on my arm with tears in her eyes while opening the door.

“Salima kilo sélé? why are you crying? Please come in.” I pet her as she walks in sobbing like a lost teenager.
