Regina Daniels in Tears in Viral Video; Brother Alleges Senator Nwoko Assaulted Her
A viral video showing Nollywood actress Regina Daniels crying has fueled speculation of domestic violence. Her brother, Sammy West, accused Senator Ned Nwoko of assault, though neither has publicly responded to the claims.
A short video of Nollywood actress Regina Daniels in visible distress has ignited a wave of concern and speculation on social media.
In the clip — which has been widely shared online — Daniels is seen crying while being held and consoled by unidentified people. The cause of her upset is not clear from the footage, prompting debate among viewers over whether the recording is behind-the-scenes material for a film or evidence of a domestic incident.
In the video Daniels is heard saying: “In Ned Nwoko’s house, I am nothing, but in my own house, I am a Queen. Not again. I can’t stand the violence, it’s too much.”
Daniels married businessman-turned-senator Ned Nwoko in 2019 when she was a teenager; he is reported to be 59 and the actress is widely believed to be his sixth wife. Their high-profile union has attracted sustained public attention since it began.
Adding fuel to the controversy, Daniels’s brother, Ojeogwu Samuel Danhillman (aka Sammy West), posted on his Instagram Story on Saturday accusing Nwoko of physically assaulting his sister. In the post he wrote (in part): “Senator Ned Nwoko, you get luck say after you beat my sister again, smash her head for wall, you wan comot send thugs! I swear I for burst all your jaw.”
As of now, neither Regina Daniels nor Senator Ned Nwoko has issued a public statement addressing the video or the allegations. Social media users and fans continue to call for clarity, while others caution against jumping to conclusions until more information emerges.
