Growing up in Nigeria is one hell of an episode. We get baggaged with different lessons often accompanied by the sonorous voices of long,spineless and ugly horsewhips.We were told to respect our elders.What we weren’t taught was how to respect an elder that behaves like a child.

The world at large is cascading into an abyss of slothful morality.Everybody has his/her own version of what is correct.Pray,how else do you describe people that still listens to Reno Omokri? Reno Omokri is a trendsetter. So badmash is he in the science of trend setting that his wikipedia page has no trace of his educational exploits. He calls himself a pastor,authoring books like “Why Jesus Wept”. Founder of Mind Of Christ Christian centre, his unmatched desire to win souls for Christ led him into hosting,for a season a Christian TV show called “Transformation with Reno Omokri” on SanFranciso’s KTLN.According to his Wikipedia page, he pastors Mind Of Christ Christian Centre in California and Abuja where the teaches the word of God on a regular basis.

Pastors being spiritual fathers of droves of humans,have no time for childish schemings & bow-legged truthfulness.The work of the lord is too much a burden.Reno,however,is a classless paradigm of a puritanical hypocrite.In his spirited resolve to rope an innocent man into a portmanteau of malignant obscurity,extemporaneously ululated   condemnations and obfuscated ridicule,twisted reality,husbanded shame,canalized insensitivity and sired an abject display of puissantly miscalculated goobledygook. To mirror the extent of bile he stomachs,he went as far as stealing the identity of a California based woman,Deborah Campbell’s son named Wendel Simlin. If this Wendel was a figurative innovation,the damage might be mitigated. However, premiumtimesng of Jan 1, 2015, showed that Wendel is the son of Reno’s wife brother.What will make a man so desperate? Wickedness. He,in a befuddling and unintelligent manner, pandiculated, albeit unsuccessfully, with the rabid and mephistophelian desire to trafficate the buffoonery of government he represented off condemnation and unskillfully bringing up a false link between SLS and BokoHaram. If he did this intelligently,maybe we wouldn’t have bothered.With an email header pointing to an IP address in Kubwa and a digital footprint of that false article,he failed miserably. However,my grouse with him isn’t underpinned to this digital madness.

Doesn’t he feel shame?What kind of conscience does he have?What spirit ministers to him? What gives him the strength to talk in public after this crass display of circumjascent absurdity? The height of this display,or rather another chapter off his book of kerfufflement as he has heights aplenty,was when he called Lai Muhammad a liar from the pit of hell.If this isn’t a nascent decline into moral denudation,i don’t know what is.On what moral ground does he preach? What does he even preach? I wonder.

If he has any iota of shame, he’ll keep quiet.He ought to have hidden in a bunker and after an elastic moment of remorse, repents and begs for forgiveness. But Reno has no shame. Everything is politics to him. Like a masquerade dancing naked in the market square,Reno feels he is entertaining oblivious of the fact that he is disgracing himself.Who will give that masquerade a cloth to cover? Who’ll call Reno to order?
