Resistance Against Injustice Is Not A Disobedience To God -By Abdulrahman Yunusa

Why are we such uncivilized to an extent that to seek for your natural right has become a crime? Does that mean by revolting against political men who fail to guarantee us security as they promised us is akin to sin against the holy being ? Even it would sound that way in their mischievous ears, we can’t relent doing that at whatever chance we acquire.

Resistance against injustice has to be part of our culture. For we can’t be seeing terrors dismantling our homes and chasing away our hard earned happiness and our leaders are reluctantly refusing to do the needful by fishing them and dealing with them decisively yet expect us to fold our arms and wait for the catastrophic hurricane to consume us all.

Never, under no any account we could ever succumb this nonsense mentality. We have seen how the conspiracy of silence among us and among those who are having a recognition from the eyes of center is costing us. The silence of our traditional leaders and clerics towards the issue of criminality is glaring, they can’t say a word against it and they won’t allow those who have the zeal and the courage to spew out their grievances to the concern authority ! Huh this is an unthoughtful thought.

Our Ulamas should better know this fact, resistance to tyranny and oppression under any order has never been a disobedience to God. The God that created us the is the one who admonish and reprimanded us against injustice and he is the holy being that said he abhor injustice of all sort, so why manipulating his laws to suit the interest of our oppressors ?

Honestly we have come to a time of excessive ponder, the imbalance between religious institutions and that of politics is such a disgusting thing that every concern citizen should be wary of, why won’t we have the guts to question the validity of their shenanigans for our own welbeing.

Albeit, even if they had to enjoy some respect from us they should at least honor our lives first, we can’t afford to be faulting them if to say they care with our plight much. We would have heed to their words if they mind to care with us as they do to themselves. We are humans too and we need to inhale the oxygen for life purpose.

Meanwhile even if they have no power to publicly support Youth in discharging their duties towards securing their rights from the govt they shouldn’t be becoming a blockage to them. Why all the negative campaigns against the youth, why hindering them from taking a right step by being on to tge street for protest, why all the unnecessary invitations from the security agencies to those leading the movements?

Does such movements cost us much as those who are making a foray towards our localities do ? If no then why the perpetual hampering ? Could you a imagine a gang of fifty imbecile would ride over a village of more than 300 people and get anyone killed except those that they humbly submit their will to them and yet our people are accusing youths of not being too submissive to the dollar clerics and bloody traditional rulers who are being part and percel of our predicaments.

Alas some who are being engrossed to the pond of injustice have naively fit to coin what we are doing as crass disrespect to the sacred face of religion, elders and to it’s custodians which is not our aim at real sense. Thus anyone with sound reasoning capacity can ascertain this that we are not doing it denigrate anyone but to get our society out of the colossal mess it have found itself in.

However, even we are to be vociferously stigmatized and forced to stop acting this civil way, we won’t relent in telling them the good side of history for it never forget the past talk less of such an events that has took place not more than a couple of decades. The rise of Boko-Haram has a nexus with youth stigmatization by the concern authorities against what they view as oppression. Because bad eggs among security were used to jeopardize their lives, so that pushed some to join the terror creed. And we don’t want to witness the reoccurrence of such nasty scenes again.

For that regards, we would do the criticism on media and we would Isnha Allah recruit others to join the trend. We can’t fold our hands and be watching our untimely death knocking our doors abruptly. We must move to change the ugly narrative to a better ones at all cost, even if it means some will going to lose their lives, so long us our yearnings would be achieved then it’s no longer a lose to our sight.

Injustice should always be treated scornfully without rendering a respecting eyes to it enemies, whoever they are.

All we ask is our safety, is that too much. Please 😥
