Should the sanctity of life even be up for debate under any guise?

BEWARE OF MURDERERS!!!, anyone who justified or try to sit on the fence on the #deborahyakubu murder has lost his/her humanity and may need some psychological help. Such a person is murderer too, they haven’t just gotten the opportunity to do it because of fear of been condemned.

I know people who have tried to put up logical arguments as to how she brought it upon herself, some smooth talkers with a great command of the English language have offered sound explanations as to why the young lady should have respected other people’s faith. The number of well “educated” (or so i thought) people, even friends who have tried to stylishly justify the despicable act is alarming.

We all dress up and go about our businesses like gentlemen and women, we try to show some class and make conscious effort that our education and exposure is reflected in all that we do but what i have realised in these past few days is that, most people just do these things to get validation and fit in, given the opportunity and with nobody watching, they would also lynch a human being, a colleague, a neighbor or any acquittance in the name of religion.

By virtue of my place of birth and the religious constitution of my extended family, I have a good knowledge of the three major religion and i can boldly say that none puts the life of a fellow man in the hand of another.

Ps. Do not mention Jihad and crusades to me here, it will only add you to the number of ignorant people i already know.

….But religion or not; among humans with sanity, SHOULD THE SANCTITY OF LIFE BE UP FOR DEBATE UNDER ANY GUISE??
