The criticism which marred the purpoted primary will not augur well to the party’s drive to win an election in the state, unless drastic measures are adopted to reverse the illegality by the national leadership of the party.

It’s no longer news, the current acclaimed APC’s gubernatorial flag bearer for Taraba state in the forthcoming 2023 election, Senator Emmanuel Bwacha has not won the just concluded primaries. The primaries which produced him as a winner is nothing but charade and sham. It will not stand in the court of public opinion. Bwacha who is a third term senator has used his closeness to senate president, Ahmed Lawal to rig the primary in his favour. The barrage of condemnation and rejection of result that trailed the exercise pointed to the facts, other contenders were dissatisfied with the outcomes.

Already, those who contested the primary have expressed deep reservation on the process that lead to the emergency of senator Bwacha which is believed to have been fraught with irregularities. It is on record that,no form of primaries was held in Taraba state aside a state coup of deception and lies which ended in a Charade, thuggery and electoral fraud. Senator Emmanuel Bawcha a close associate to the senate president and current APC chairman who has taken Laws into his hands to truncate the party’s chances of wining the elections and invite court cases or legal actions ahead of the elections. President Buhari and the entire APC family may deem it fit to cast its lenses on what happened in the Taraba’s primary election in other to restore sanity and put the party on the winning path.
In the interim, strongest contender and former permanent secretary and head of service, Danladi Irmiya Kifasi has approached the court to restrict both INEC and APC from supporting electoral fraud in Taraba state. Kifasi is not alone other aspirants such as senator Yusuf A. Yusuf, Chief David Sabo Kente, Engr Saleh Mamman, Dr Anthony Manzo and prof. Muhammed Yahaya protested the outcome of shame primary.
