Soludo Defeats Rivals at Peter Obi’s Polling Unit in Anambra Election

Anambra Governor and APGA candidate, Prof. Chukwuma Soludo, wins at Labour Party’s Peter Obi’s polling unit, polling 19 votes against APC’s 10 in Agulu Ward 2.

Governor Chukwuma Soludo, candidate of the All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA), has won at the polling unit of Labour Party’s 2023 presidential candidate, Mr. Peter Obi, in the ongoing Anambra governorship election.

Obi, a former governor of Anambra State, cast his ballot at Umudimakasi, Agulu Ward 2, Polling Unit 008, where residents and supporters gathered to welcome him.

According to the official results announced at the unit, Soludo polled 19 votes, defeating his closest challenger, Nicholas Chukwujekwu of the All Progressives Congress (APC), who garnered 10 votes.

The Young Progressives Party (YPP) recorded four votes, while the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) managed one vote.
