Soludo Lauds Ibida’s Representation

Professor Soludo stated that the accomplishments of the Njikoka II Constituency representative could not be ignored.

It was thumbs up for Hon Peter Ibida, Chief Whip, Anambra State House of Assembly, on Tuesday, October 11, 2022 as Governor of Anambra State, Charles Soludo extolled the legislator’s profile.

Soludo spoke during his fact – finding visit to Nimo – Oye Abagana road slated for immediate construction.

The Governor described Ibida who was on hand to guide the tour as a capacity legislator.

“Ide has been a great representative of the people” he enthused.

Professor Soludo stated that the accomplishments of the Njikoka II Constituency representative could not be ignored.

“He has done well and should be rewarded with higher office.”

The endorsement of Ibida’s House of Representatives candidacy was applauded by the mix of government officials, Nimo town union officials and bystanders.

“We will all have to work together (on the elections).”

After consultation with relevant officers, the Governor announced that the road with gully erosion at the Abagana end will be completed in ten months.

“Nimo, we have come. Abagana, we have come. Njikoka Local Govt, we have come. We’re taking the project very seriously. Next year, I’ll be here to commission it.”

Responding, Hon Peter Ibida urged the Governor to keep up the turnaround he had started in the State.

“You’re a practical Governor; people – oriented. You’re not an armchair Governor. You go out to see things for yourself. It shall be well with you” he said.
