More than 50 students of St. Mary’s School, a Catholic mission institution located in Papiri community, Agwara Local Government Area of Niger State, have been abducted by terrorists.

The attackers reportedly stormed the school and whisked the students away during the raid.

In a statement confirming the incident, the Niger State Government said:
“The Niger State Government has received with deep sadness the disturbing news of the kidnapping of pupils from St. Mary’s School.”
