God allows suffering to bring us closer to him and He often uses hard times to get our attention. The greatest challenge in life is establishing your Moral compass, overcoming your story and mastering your mind and practice being resilient.

It is easy to stand with the crowd, go along with group think and do what everyone else is doing. And, sometimes that is ok. Leaders, role models and mentors however, have the courage to stand alone when going along with the crowd is what is popular. But, it means you have to compromise your values and integrity. It takes courage to stand alone.
