Please also look into and intensify efforts on inadequacy of the Oyo State Amotekun corps leadership system manifesting itself through unprofessional operation experiencing in Oyo State Amotekun corps operatives which can make the Oyo State Government to building castle on the air.

The article which I published previously was not to tarnish the image of Oyo State Amotekun Corps but to call attention of the Executive Governor Of Oyo State to critically look at the problems that Amotekun Operatives are facing. My attention has been drawn to a news that was published online yesterday by oyo affairs which says and I quote, No Amotekun Operative in Oyo State earns less than N45,000 a month.

Logically as a State Government Job is it ethical for both Primary School Certificate holders with SSCE, ND, NCE, HND, BSC, MSC to be earning the same salary? which is 45,000. What we are saying is that is unprofessional for security outfit like Oyo State Amotekun Cops operating without ranks and no grading system there can not be disciple in the security outfit without ranks every one can not be equal there must be a Senior Operatives and Junior Operatives, even in private security guards there is ranks and hierarchy I will advice the Amotekun State Commandant in person of Rtd Col. Olayinka to go and learn from Ondo and Ogun State Amotekun on how they are able to come up with ranking system in there state.

One the issue of there are two sets of operatives – black belts and white belts claimed by Oyo affairs news this information is false the first time Oyo State Amotekun Corps will come out publicly with white belts is on there First Anniversary Celebration of the Oyo State Security Network Agency (Amotekun Corps) on Thursday, November 18, 2021. The white belts can only be use by the parade unit in Amotekun Corps even in paramilitary such as Nigeria Police Force white belts only symbolize department not ranks.

And it’s impossible to operate a security outfit without code of conduct, no ranking system, have interviewed some Amotekun Corps operatives anonymously there is no written documents that guide Amotekun Corps on how to operate the only document that Oyo State Anotekun Corps have presently is the law that established Amotekun Corps 2020.
Up till this moment Oyo State Amotekun have no Organizational Structure no code of conduct, independent bodies can verify this information if it’s true or false and if they clam they have one they should put it online for us to see, even The Nigeria Police Act with Regulations is online for public consumption they should let us see what Amotekun Corps is operating with.

Bellow is the picture of His Excellency Seyi Makinde, the Executive Governor of Oyo State inspecting the Amotekun Corps quarter guard.
