The Ineptitude of Senator Bala Abdulkadir Mohammed In Payment of Salary In Bauchi State Should Be Reconsidered -By Tajuddeen Ahmad Tijjani

Why is Governor Bala always thrilled by starving his workers what they are fully entitled to? A right thinking human being, wouldn’t be thrilled and excited by this lawlessness.

We have said it earlier, payment of workers’ wages isn’t a privilege but fundamental right as enshrined in the 1999 Constitution and labour act. So for someone whose majority voters entrusted him with their mandates, to be custodian of their meager resources, can’t just do as he wishes, rather we expect him to do what’s right, justice and fairness in all his dealings to his subjects.

Government of Bauchi state should urgently put necessary measures that will do away with delay in payment of workers’ salaries as at when due. However failure to do the needful, will no doubt, set a bad precedence not only to the Governor as a person but to his administration.

There’s no need to remind the governor, that these patriots you deliberately hold their necks with a string have responsibilities. They are human beings like you who deserve equal respect and admiration.

Is difficult to comprehend how a Governor that owes workers’ salaries— brags about his achievements— which is not important as putting food on the table of the workers.

You can’t withhold someone’s entitlement and expect fruitful results, by implications, you’re breeding obstacle to the development of your state.

It’s in the public domain, the wages which, when paid on time are barely enough for many workers to pay back debts, support families, and afford basic needs. Employees’ wages leave many in perilous conditions.

As a number one citizen of the state, whom God entrusted his subjects on, it’s unbecoming and unbearable to inflict hardship on your workers. If you don’t be their source of inspiration, don’t be their source of agony.

Mr. Governor, note that, frequent delay or arbitrary deduction of workers wages will not auger well for your administration.

My appeal to Governor Bala administration “Ku duba girman Allah ku rika biyan ma’aika hakkinsu akan lokaci, ku daina rikewa wanda kuka ga dama, kuna bawa wanda kuka ga dama, wannan ba adalci bane.
