Forgotten Dairies
The Nation Of No Notion -By Mudathir Hayatullahi Folorunsho

We are by ourselves, Plucking suffering through leaves, Atrocities gain hearing in our nation, Without hearing from any radio station.
Corrupt people are viewed on television; But never found guilty in any police station. Criminals are freed without being charged, So they continue evil acts like a battery fully charged.
The rich make jest of the poor through sandal, They forget their secrets labelled scandal, They inflicte suffering only on the masses, And never questioned the motive of the classes.
Government of the people by and for defines democracy, Why then we implement the law of Kakistocracy?Should I call this an oppression by the aristocracy, Or say we practice the government of Gerontocracy?
Youth is not allowed to rule at fresh age; The gray occupy the seat even at last age, Youth wants to control with his young memory; But the Father afraids to be so soon a memory.
Politics known today is such a dirty game, And so well played by men of no shame, They use innocent souls to pay political rites, Then still deprive others their civic rights, Their children study free abroad- they are upper class, The mass face strike still have no class.
I know, so sure, they won’t also go free, Even if thier prayers to the Lord is to set them free, Not even their daily charity to the church, Never they will be left to heaven of no judge.
The right of a good leader is to get there and serve; Reverse, so sad, they are the one being served. We are the architecture, the reward of our sins, Recorded by the Angels shown like in dramatic scenes.
We all shout for a better change, But stingy to begger that lives in a cage, Beggars are the lack that takes our lacks; After death, our property will follow them in sacks.
Let the change just begin with us, Even if we are not yet riding a horse. All we need in life is just to pray, That God should forgive and bless our grey.
