The funniest part of this issue is that the criminals know where their people are being kept by the government and know how to get them out but the government doesn’t know how to get the poor people who are been kidnapped by the bandits out of captivity.

More often there are some rising issues of insecurity and insecureness bedevilling this great country with no measure or any set about to bring those people engaged in this felonious act to book. How can we continue like this? In a country where we’re born and rise up but we cannot move freely anymore.

I quoted Blueprint newspaper publication of January 2, 2022 that says, Not less than N12trillion was budgeted for security in the last seven years (2016-2022), Blueprint can authoritatively reveal. Just imagine how APC government budgeted 12 trillion for security in the last seven years and no any change from the security outlook of Nigeria and the heinous part of it is that the rising of insecurity is everyday in this country since now where is seem to be safe anymore.

The funniest part of this issue is that the criminals know where their people are being kept by the government and know how to get them out but the government doesn’t know how to get the poor people who are been kidnapped by the bandits out of captivity. Terrorist boldly went to Kuje prison to rescued their members and also courageous without any act of panic to free other suspected criminals in the prison.

Nigerians in captivity are in dilemma because they are left with no option than to find a way to free themselves from the captivity through any means possible.

We the ordinary Nigerians are left with no option than to find a way out to protect ourselves from this menace since the bandits threatened to abduct the Nigerian Number one citizen which is the president of this great country but no any action or measures in place so far to tackle and punish those criminals. Please tell me do you think we have a government in Nigeria?

Recently, more often than before, Nigeria especially northern part of it has been trending on both local and international media over ceaseless attacks by bandits.

According news reports, people were killed on the Abuja — Kaduna train attacked with hundreds missing and tens of wounded by the attack and almost 125 days but they are still in captivity, what is Nigerian government doing to rescue those victims from those people called bandits?

Many of such devastating news have reached our eardrums as sympathetic to the victims but, the government seems to be lackadaisical towards curtailing the menace. It’s on Saturday that the bandits release a video flogging those in captivity and no any measure to tackle such menace. The hardest part of it is Watching them being so dehumanized by their abductors in a viral video has to be an unbearable scale of pain.

Banditry has found a laying bed in Northern Nigeria and the government is aloof. What has Buhari’s government that was enthroned to solve the insecurity in the land done? The answer is “NO”

To me it seem we have no security personnel’s in this country and we also have no government to listen to the yearnings and aspirations of the populace that voted for this government with the belief in mind that this country will change to a better one.

Lastly I want Mr president to put this into consideration that, “When anger rises, think of the consequences.” And I just pray that there will still be people alive in Nigeria when he hand over in 2023.
