To The Concerned Government – The Suggested Protocols For Implementing A Peaceful Protest -By Maruf Quadri Olayiwola

From the very beginning we have continued to emphasize that all #ENDSARS protest are peaceful, and they have continued to remain peaceful till date.

The government has introduced some unscrupulous elements to try and discredit our course, but these can never work.

Once again, we have seen signs of a failed government, the government that has told us that they are unable to function and they are unable to carry out their duties.

There is a law that is called the Electoral Acts. There is a particular provision in that law that state that Commissioners of Police in every single state must deploy adequate securities to ensure that there is peace in any form of political rally across the country.

Guess what! Lagos State has just imposed a curfew telling us that they are unable to control the violence.

((Smiles)), guess what! the violence can’t be forever, and once you loose this curfew, we are back.

However, this is my humble suggestion, I suggest we have a designated grant of protest so that we know that in each State, we have where we are going to.
For Example, Lagos State should report to a particular place, while other states report to various places too.

The more we are together, the harder it is for them to pin anything on us.

And we know that once we are in a particular place/joint for the protest, any other person found anywhere else perpetrating any form of violence must be arrested and prosecuted.
