[UPDATE] Power Outage: AEDC Notifies Customers Of Current Issue

Geeky Nigeria reports that AEDC’s franchise area covers the Federal Capital Territory, Niger, Kogi and Nasarawa States with a total land mass of 133,000 km2.

The Abuja Electricity Distribution Plc (AEDC) has notified some of its customers in Abuja of the cause of the power outage in their environs.

According to AEDC, a feeder serving the affected areas has a technical fault leading to the power supply’s disconnection. The affected area is Area U Garki, Abuja.

“The Management of Abuja Electricity Distribution Plc. (AEDC) wishes to notify its esteemed customers in (Area U Garki, Abuja) Onitsha Crescent, Efab Mall Extension, Gimbia Court, Otuoke Street, Hunkuyi Close, Eco Scan, Otukpo Street, Grande Mirage, 24/7 Restaurant, Petrus Hotel, lkole Street, Agatu Street, Kukawa Street and its Environs that the power outage they are currently experiencing is due to a technical fault on the feeder serving their areas.

“Our engineers are currently working hard to restore the power supply soonest. We regret any inconveniences caused. Thank you,” AEDC announced.
