We didn’t extend exam registration date – NECO
NECO urged stakeholders to ignore social media claims claiming that the registration deadline has been extended to Monday, June 20, 2024, in a statement released on Thursday.
The National Examinations Council has attested to the fact that the internal registration deadline for the 2024 Senior School Certificate Examination is still set at the current date.
NECO urged stakeholders to ignore social media claims claiming that the registration deadline has been extended to Monday, June 20, 2024, in a statement released on Thursday.
The registration period began on Monday, December 18, 2023, and will end on Monday, June 3, 2024, per NECO’s insistence.
The National Examinations Council has not extended the deadline for internal registration for the 2024 Senior School Certificate Examination, according to the announcement.
“Late registration, which attracts the late registration fee, is between Tuesday, June 4, 2024, to Monday, June 10, 2024.
“The Council enjoins candidates, school principals, commandants, state ministries of education, and other stakeholders to disregard social media posts purporting that the registration period has been extended to Monday, June 20, 2024.”
The statement revealed that the 2024 SSCE Internal would commence on June 19, 2024 and end on July 26, 2024.
Candidates will be assessed in 76 subjects during the examination.
