When Truth Speak Against Injustice: The Hurtful Saga Of Mallam Idris And Bauchi State Government -By Abdulrahman Yunusa

When Immorality take the lead in the governing affairs, the outcome will be outrightly ugly for the governors. This is nothing but a sheer of undeniable fact.

The Rivalry between a Cleric and one govt officials in Bauchi is getting out of hand. As of last week, the renowned controversial sheikh in Bauchi Malam Idris Abdul’aziz has accused Bauchi state govt of embezzlement of public fund and misplacement of priority.

Well, It’s no longer a new update to anyone that is conversant with Bauchi state politics that the govt had approved 6.7 Billions for government house renovation. Imagine, this huge amount for renovation only, when such building can be built with the half of such money that is being approved.

Not for a fearless Sheikh like Malam Idris, even ordinary citizens have tremendously kicked against this worthless gesture made by Bauchi government because such whooping amount of money can be use to pay some outstanding salary payment which some civil servant including pensioners are owing the govt.

As for the sheikh, he openly claimed that if to say the govt is willing to award him the contract, he can do it with just 1 billions and leave the rest for govt to execute some public contracts that will positively affect the lives of poor people. And I reason with him that way, though they consider him as their enemy for speaking the truth.

Then after his submission regarding the bandwagon govt house contract issue one of the commissioner among Kaura cabinet Zaki by Nickname took his time and viciously fought Mallam back despite knowing what he said is true and despite knowing the significant role Malam played toward the success of their administration.

Mischievously, This man Nuhu Zaki has been so careless with his tongue and choice of words upon Malam because what he uttered upon the revered Sheikh was totally uncalled for and very disheartening. He called Malam all sort of unprintable Names in the name of defense, it’s very illogical and ungodly decision to called your ally ” Mahassadi, Jahili, Daqiqi” just because ge failed to subscribe your own version of stupidity. what an immoral act is this!

However, despite what Mallam criticism toward this govt, he never for once hated this administration because he is among the helping hands who fought the past administration for being so callous to Bauchi people and make the dream of PDP to become reality in Bauchi. But they failed to consider this because of blind support to mediocrity. And for fair sake, Mallam is exceptional among Bauchi clerics because he never take anything from politicians and that’s what makes him so strong to point them an accusing finger whenever they go wrong.

Are we not in democracy where every has the right to check mate the affair of his state freely without being stigmatized with the shield of accountability in Democratic setting ? Is Malam an exception to that general rule or he doesn’t have the right to speak for his own people for God sake ?

Furthermore, If I were the governor, I will immediately do the needful against my boy, and I will surely apologize to the sheikh for being my lover because only your lover can call your attention whenever you go out of the fair jury and makes you change your awful decision. Sadly their arrogance won’t allow them act in a saner way.

Finally, I wish, Kaura will draw a line to his cabinets to which they shouldn’t be overstepping while executing their duties for if they keep acting in such clumsy manner, he will be the first to fall in to the trap of their jargons.

Truth is that, If care is not taken, they will chase away his lovers and makes him a loser politically once he keep those kind of people close to him.

Anyone close to Governor should as a matter of urgency need to call his attention. For no one wants failure but romancing evil is akin to open invitation to failure in all sense.
