Where are we heading to? -By Yusuf Adinoyi

Yesterday I saw the DMO publishing the foreign debt of each state in Nigeria and I was shocked and ewed. Why, when and how did we get here?
Kaduna is number 2 on the list, as in look at the picture attached for yourself and see what I am talking about. Is this not absurd?
The future if our great country has been eaten now by this current state governors.

I have always said it that the Governors are the enemies of Nigerians. President Buhari did the following:

• financial Autonomy for local Government, state judiciary, state legislature, proposed increase for Teachers Salaries, among others and they all rejected it. But, they were given a bail out funds of 18billion each and they are secretly Happy and enjoying it.
  If I may ask, what is the tangible thing they did with the first Bail out fund and Paris club refund?
  What did they do with it? And all they are after is just to acrue loan for other Government.
  The annoying thing is even Efcc that discovered kogi’s fund been hidden in Sterling bank account, please is this not shamelessly shameful.

The Federal Government is doing her best but honestly speaking this Governors need to be called to order.
I am even surprised when they were angry over direct primary elections, I thought they wanted the best for us, why are they afraid of it?
They know that their influence and wading into electing next Governors of the state has been cut off. They are the one putting Nigeria in jeopardy.

Now let’s talk about the loans, when are we going to pay back?
How are we paying back this huge debt?
Considering the current economy dispensation, things are not going well, the masses are managing and trying to cope.
I am not trying to be bash anyone but sincerely speaking, the Governors are not helping matter.
With that huge debt, the budget of these states are in trouble, where is all the IGR going? What have they used the loan for?
I know they will claim to pay Salaries and construct roads, then what happened to the allocations they do collect every month?
How many roads have they constructed so far?
Yet, many are still left abandoned.
I am really not happy with this situation. Our future is been robbed right now before our eyes.

The earlier the better we begin to actively participate in Political activities to weed out some miscreants that are not supposed to be a ward head, the better for us.
We can’t continue to like this, Honestly.
