It is shocking to see Christians lie to themselves on this day. It seems many of us, who ought to be wise as serpents, have also become April Fools. If you are a true Christian, you will have absolutely nothing to do with April Fools’ Day because it has absolutely nothing to do with Christ.
Today is 1 April 2023, a day globally recognized as April Fools’ Day for fun and foolery. It is usually a day people play pranks on other people and those who have been deceived are jokingly called April Fools. It is a celebration with a pagan origin and true Christians should not be involved with it. Do not celebrate it.
It is a day when falsehood is globally approved to be spread among people joyfully. On this day, the seeds of dishonesty are sown in young minds. The values of honesty, integrity and transparency are trampled upon. Lies become the norm on this day. If anything happens today and it is reported in the news, people will find it hard to believe. They will think that it may just be another April Fools’ joke.
