Why Abba Can’t Stand On His Own Feet -By Sale Rusulana Yanguruza

Although conflict in a democratic system of government is unavoidable, but ,we must consider whether the rift between Ganduje and Kwankwaso has provided  positive impact and outcomes to the people in Kano state. If the answer is no, then why are we remaining silent and allowing it to recur between Abba and Kwankwaso?I still  repeat it , the silence of Abba and other stakeholders on the pressing issues of ‘Abba Stand  on your own feet ” in Kano State is indeed concerning issues require Abba to tackle it.

Abba Kabir Yusuf, Governor of Kano State
The recent call on “Abba Tsaya Da Kafarka” in English meaning ‘Abba stand on own your feet’ in Kano State is stirring up trouble, reminiscent of the serious issues that arose from Dr. Abdullahi Umar Ganduje separation from Dr. Rabi’u Musa Kwankwaso. Abba should beware of political gamers creating problems in his leadership journey. At the beginning of your first tenure, Abba can’t afford to stand alone without fully understanding Kano leadership, politics, and dynamics, even Ganduje doesn’t attempt Stand on his own feet at the early of his journey as Governor of Kano.
Those pushing and fueling you  separate from Kwankwaso aren’t genuine and good supporters rather, they’re trying  to create another  toxic situations that can’t provide  better outcomes to Excellency Abba Kabir Yusuf and the people of Kano State. How can a true comrades ask for separation of Kwankwaso and Abba ? To me , a patriotic comrades should be the ones to criticizes Abba for  unfulfilled campaign promises and provide advises to the governor .What are the genuine reasons behind and the benefits of  Abba separate from Kwankwaso?
The silence from stakeholders and  Community organizations on the issue of the “Abba stand on your own feet” movement in Kano State is very  concerning , especially considering the history of conflicts between the two former Governors, Kwankwaso and Ganduje, If  we would recalled at the beginning of their conflict seemed  minor, but it has now escalated into a complex and persistent problem affecting the state negatively ,and it even affected Kano Emirates .
My great  concerns the situation is continuously becoming a serious and complicated issues that is  hampering  development of Kano. What did you think would happened in Kano , if we have set different political groups with similar political ideologies  like  Kwankwaso, Abba  and Ganduje. Undoubtedly, it Will potentially pave a way in  recreating the divisive dynamics and conflicts.
As a  concern citizen of Kano State, an not affiliated with any political party, I feel compelled to bring to the governor attention to  matter and urgent need to avoid taken decisions that could destabilize the peace of our state.
The recent  ongoing street and social media calls for Governor Abba Yusuf to distance himself from his Boss, the allies and supporters lack clear and genuine reasons and I can referred to them as  factionist, that  are creating  chaos and  unnecessary noise . The fact remains stable  and unchanged that Governor Abba Yusuf has been leading Kano State independently since his inauguration on May 29 as Elected governor of Kano state at  Sani Abacha Stadium .What is essence of so called Abba Stand on your own  feet ?
As matter of urgency, it’s imperative kanawa’s to Stand and wake up to  call  for peace among Kano political figures not perpetual political conflict, which yields no positive outcomes for our beloved Kano state.
Let’s gather and call for peace and unity, prioritizing Kano well-being over personal interests. We ,the people of Kano state have witnessed how the  rivalry between Kwankwaso and Ganduje, fueled by  Yan zuga brought about negative consequences in Kano and posed  of the serious problem treating the peace and harmony of Kano emirate . We’re not ready to experience such political rivalry that can destroys unity, and fosters critical controversy and  tension.
Unfortunately, Rather than learning lesson from the past conflict of Kwankwaso and Ganduje, some individuals claiming to be comrades and patriotic to Kano seem  satisfied with the status quo and neglecting the consequences of these matters can cause to the peace of Kano.
As Executive  Governor of Kano State, it is imperative that you address these concerns promptly to prevent escalation ,this is because People of Kano Deserve Peaceful atmosphere under your tenure.Whether you are interested in accepting thier so called “Abba Stand on your own  feet ” in your leadership or not, remember that the people have already placed you in a position of responsibility by voting for you.
However, succumbing to demands to abandon your principal is not a solution, it is an attempt to undermine your leadership journey. As a concerned citizen of Kano State, I would like to respectfully bring to the attention of His Excellency, Governor Abba Kabir Yusuf, on this critical issues with uptmost care ,Before taking your part, I humbly advise the Governor to consider this :
SECURITY : Excellency Abba Kabir Yusuf, should be reminded on the alarming reports of violence between supporters of Kwankwaso and Ganduje in Kano on January 14, 2018, resulting in numerous injuries and loss of life, raise serious concerns about security in Kano .
Such incidents are unacceptable and there is need for urgent attention to prevent further escalation. How can we fold our hand and be silent about  such issues ? The  clashes between the  political figures supporters in Kano are very disturbing trend that demands immediate action from authorities and stakeholders in  kano.
The reports from Premium Times, The Guardian, and The Pulse in 2018 are a stark reminder of the risks to human life and the overall security situation. Abba kabir shouldn’t forget that  distance him from his Boss may result in such act to recur  in our State .
Although Governor Abba Kabir Yusuf has called for dialogue among party supporters and leaders, it is imperative that he seeks intervention from National Party Leaders if he is  genuinely interested in resolving the issues of  “Abba standing on your  own feet “As Executive Governor of Kano I’m confident that tackling and providing solutions to the ongoing conflicts is within your control , is either to determine whether the party will continue to face turmoil or find peace.
Remember! He who betrays his leader will be betrayed by his own followers.” (Zulu).
