Properties worth millions of Naira were on Wednesday (2 May,2018) afternoon razed by fire in Zing town of Taraba state.

The incidence happened on part of the central market during the market hours and day around quarter minutes to 3’o’clock when two heavy loaded tankers collide along Jalingo-Zing-Mayo of belwa federal high way, one of which was carrying petrol parked by the road side and the other carrying gas coming from Jalingo that rocked the former, due to unable to control the break.

Many people run away to escape their life and up to the time of compiling this piece, the actual statistics of the number of casualties that dies and sustained injuries were 11 and 20 people respectively.

The fire outbreak which caused panic in the area; claim and destroyed properties. Most shops gulfed by the fire were stocked with goods such as clothes, foodstuffs and other materials of man’s use and which were almost completely razed down by the inferno.

As an eye witness of the incident, the fire continue to breed up to the following morning of Thursday.
The chairman of the local government area and the state house of the assembly representative visited the scene and described the incidence as unfortunate and on their own part, they will look the ways to assist the affected traders and those hospitalize and pray for the families of the deceases to bear the lost.

My point of concern:
Since then, it is now getting to two weeks no any government officials has visited the area, talk less of even to here from the governor. Now:

* what will be the faith of the deceases families?
* What will be the future of the affected and hospitalize traders? and;
* What government do about it?
