It is no surprise to find a modern day tyrant in any organisation or government and indeed I was not shocked when I heard about the affairs of a tyrant who is in charge of the helm of affairs in kwara state. The Governor, Mallam Abdulrahman Abdulrazak had given kwarans high hopes and expectations and even though the rejuvenation of a system is a gradual process, All hell went lose when he appointed a self acclaimed assistant of a minister in the UK as his PPS(principal private secretary) Jumoke Gafar. The AA led administration suddenly became a laugh stock due to many abnormalities for instance- jumoke gafar is a daughter to a very staunch PDP Statesman and had not played a single role in the emergence of GOV abdulrazak. The PPS suddenly took charge of all the responsibilities of the governors employees. Unbeknownst to people, jumoke gafar is the person in charge of all the affairs if the state playing the role of even the Governor himself.

A lot of concerned statesmen and indigenes had in several occasions veted their anger but all to deaf ears as the Governor had refused to check the excesses of his PPS. The complaints were not limited to only Gafars appointment but also included the appointment of several other people in the Government such as the son of the Governors rival who is the Governors TA on agriculture and also doubles as the executive Secretary of the (kwasip) Abdulquawiy olododo.

In addition, Various stakeholders in the state had decided to surprise the Governor by decamping to other political parties of interest which is supposed to seem like a last-minute decision due to the fact that the state government has shown no form of empathy or provided any form of hope to the sincere and irreplaceable roles they played to see to the Governors emergence to power.

There had been several revelation by organisations over the scandalous deals the PPS had been involved in including of recent when a very huge amount of money was found in her bank account but there was no form of remorse or action from the Governor which is why some concerned indigenes had even resorted to personal prayer sessions with the believe that the Governor had been possessed through diabolical means.

Furthermore, Another matter of great concern is the condemnable appointed of Khadija wuro-ba who happens to be a Mauritanian and has no form of genetics or whatsoever with kwara state. Khadija wuro-ba is the Governors special assistant on economic policies to the governor and has also been exposed recently due to the shady economic deals she is involved in but as usual, all complaints to the Governor fell on deaf ears even though he was approached with a very strong evidence which was more than enough to prove the allegations.

The PPS and the Governor have rendered the office of the deputy governor useless and also that of the chief of staff due to the fact that it was proven that the PPS happens to be the one handling the deputy Governors memos and decides the one to approve and whatnot.

A lot of Kwarans have compensated themselves with the fact that in a few months, they would be given the opportunity to exercise their fundamental humans rights to vote out governor Abdulrahman Abdularazak if he fails to sack or curb the excesses of his employees before the next General elections.
