And now that Iwo has a College of Education: Can I have some listening ears? -B Azeez Ridwan

Let all concerned duos behind the scene let the sleeping dog lie, as everyone in this world shall bear his own crucifix. The Iragbiji and Ila-Oranguns should welcome the new development as an Achievement for all, bearing it in mind that this is the first Federal College of Education in Osun State.

Education has a key ingredient of an intellectually ventilated society that will be left in jeopardy when a single stone toward its actualisation is left unturned.

Let me begin my satire by x-raying the anatomy of some ill-wishers, whom in their mitochondria opinion faulted the siting of the trending Federal College of Education in Iwo, ascribing names, and making ill-befitting comments directed towards the Governor of the State of Osun and the Federal Ministry of Education respectively. The Iragbiji bursters and the Ila Doctors of commentaries had taken to the hill, making undesirable comments in respect of the approved Federal College of Education, Iwo, why reasons they might have advanced in this regard are yet to materialise.

Politically Speaking, since the creation of the State of Osun in 1991, the role of the ancient city of Iwo is part and parcel as well as the silver spoon that nurtures the State till this moment. A flashback to the past will help you more in understanding my assertion in this context or do you doubt my words, I know you know you are already sitting on the fence.

For all these days of the political influx in Osun State, be it lobbying or racketeering, the city of Iwo despite her well-known feature in the political map of Osun has not even for once being considered in sitting any State or Federal Institution, this sometimes make inhabitant label politicians representing Iwo State and Federal Constituencies as good-for-nothing. Very incredible!

As a submission I would like to hammer upon, let our political dramatic personnel bear it in mind that their season of buy-one-and-get-one-for-free has come! Job racketeering, appointment nepotism, and favouritism. I hope you get my point in this regard.
This is an opportunity we had gotten by chance, the devil has no packaging, we are sure this is a moment we make good utilisation of the little we have gotten from above. For the very best to come, all hands must be on deck and not on sharing the formula of the Glory.

To cap it all, the effort of those who were behind the success of the actualisation of this glorious Achievement is commendable, as well as the sit-at-homes who are only available when the food is ready. Specialty a congratulation to the Oluwo of Iwoland Oba Abdurasheed Akanbi Telu I, for his relentless effort towards the success of the institution.
