And Our Super Cop (Kyari) Keeps Digging -By Charles Ogbu

First, in the original post, you claimed you arrested Hushpuppy’s partner-in-crime following a report of threat to life filed by Hushpuppy against him through a phone call to your office which you quickly acted upon even with no preliminary investigation but that after the arrest and investigation, you discovered there was no threat to life but only “MONEY ISSUES BETWEEN FRIENDS”.

  1. In a bid to deny any relationship with the alleged international fraudster, you quickly wrote a response even without waiting to read the full FBI indictment (Foolish mistake No1) and ended up pushing yourself deeper into the hole you were already in. A super cop who didn’t remember the police ‘ring tone’ which says ‘You have a right to remain silent as anything you say now may be used against you in a court of law’. The shameful irony no be here at all. But this is not even the real shame.
  2. After many days, you edited the said post twelve (12) solid times and in each edit history, you kept indicting yourself the more.

In the edited post, you now admitted that your investigation revealed they were having “FRAUD MONEY ISSUES” (all emphasis are mine).

So you, the head of a whole Inspector General of Police INTELLIGENCE Response Unit (IRT) and the most decorated police officer in the whole Nigeria was dragged into a case which upon investigation, you discovered was FRAUD MONEY ISSUES and you simply turned a blind eye? Wait, is it Charles Ogbu that is supposed to teach our Super Cop that fraud is a CRIME and that a crime is punishable by the state, which means, even if Hushpuppy’s victim didn’t do anything, you as a uniformed operative of the state had a duty to act against crime and suspected criminals.

Even if the said crime falls outside your jurisdiction, you have a duty to bring it to the attention of relevant agencies or departments.

But in your case, you turned a blind eye and even had the shameless audacity to tell us that the same Hushpuppy called your office again in 2020 demanding you help him recover some 8 million for his friend.

And you now removed everything about the native wears of about N300,000 you earlier told us you helped the same fraudster procure???

  1. Finally, you went and deleted the post which you should never have written in the first place. I’m guessing you are not aware that nothing is really lost forever in the internet. Deleted post can be recovered if need be. And the edit history of any post is a public knowledge.

For me, the tragedy of this whole saga is that this man is portrayed both by the Nigerian Police Force, the Presidency and even the National Assembly (House of Reps. to be more specific) as the most intelligent Police officer in Nigeria. He’s actually the most decorated. If this is the best from our best, imagine what to expect from others.

Let me drop this very important but unsolicited advice to you my readers, ONCE YOU ARE MENTIONED IN ANY CASE OF A CRIMINAL NATURE, YOUR BEST OPTION IS TO KEEP QUEIT AND SPEAK ONLY THROUGH YOUR LAWYER OR ON HIS/HER ADVICE. I see so many friends on social media make the same mistake as this officer, thereby putting themselves in more trouble. If this is the only lesson you learnt from this, trust me, you’ve learnt enough!
