Another Breaking News From Israel -By Joe Dauda

All these highly risky airstrikes with Israel’s cutting edge air superiority on full display are in line with the so-called Begin Doctrine, which states that:

“On no account shall we permit an enemy to develop weapons of mass destruction against the people of Israel. We shall defend the citizens of Israel in good time and with all the means at our disposal.”

This thing is no longer funny: not that it was ever funny.

4 days ago, the Defense Minister of the State of Israel (in a public statement) essentially said that the cost of an Israeli airstrike on the Iranian nuclear program will be cheaper today than it will be in a year’s time. He also claimed that Iran is only a few weeks away from building a nuclear bomb. Naturally, he concluded his claims by declaring that Israel will act to stop Iran by whatever means necessary.

This statement by a high ranking cabinet member of the Israeli government is more ominous than it first appears. On the surface, it is ominous enough because it indicates that Israel is about to go after Iran’s nuclear sites any moment from now because, no matter what reprisal attacks they will suffer from Iran and Iran’s proxies/allies like Hezbollah, the Syrian government, Hamas, Islamic Jihad, and Shia militia groups operating out of Iraq, it will still be better for the attempt to go on now than one year from now, when, in Israel’s estimation, Iran would have already become a nuclear power. The reason why this statement is more serious than the above explanation of its dire face value is because the Israelis hardly reveal what they are up to. For example, it is an open secret that Israel has at least 200 nuclear bombs. But you will never get a categorical confirmation of this fact from the Israeli government. So for Benny Gantz, Israel’s Defense Minister, to come out and basically put the world on notice is nothing short of an actual announcement that a mission is about to be launched. This breaking news far overshadows what I pointed out just a few days ago.

The Background

Until 1979, Israel used to be friends with Iran. Many will be surprised by this but the fact is that, back in the day, Iran was the second Muslim majority country to recognize Israel as a sovereign State. This is quite remarkable. And equally interesting is the fact that, in Bible days, Iran (known as Persia in the Bible) played a lot of positive roles in the destiny of Israel. Emperor Ahasuerus, who married Esther and made her Queen, was a Persian king. This man was later used by God to save the Jews from imminent annihilation. As the Bible records in the Book of Esther, one Hamman (a descendant of king Agag) had hatched a plan to eliminate all the Jews in the world and had gone as far as securing imperial approval for this genocide from Ahasuerus. But Esther embarked on a dry fast and prayed for 3 days and 3 nights. Emboldened in the spirit, she appealed directly to Ahasuerus and, through her intervention, Ahasuerus not only killed Hamman in a feat of anger but empowered the Jews to defend themselves. These endangered Jews eventually destroyed their enemies and lived in peace for a while — not just in Iran but all over the world, where they had been dispersed to due to their disobedience to the commandments of God. Another major Persian king in Jewish history was Cyrus. God called Cyrus “His anointed” and told prophet Isaiah this man’s name hundreds of years before he was born. God added that Cyrus was going to help the Jews: Isaiah 45.

“For Jacob my servant’s sake, and Israel mine elect, I have even called thee by name; I have surnamed thee, though thou hast not known me”. Isaiah 45:4.

As surely as was prophesied, a Persian king by the name of Cyrus soon came on the world stage. Cyrus became one of a string of kings that permitted the Jews to return to Jerusalem to rebuild the city and the Temple, the other two being Darius and Artaxerxes:

“And the elders of the Jews builded, and they prospered . . . according to the commandment of the God of Israel, and according to the commandment of Cyrus, and Darius, and Artaxerxes”. Ezra 6:14.

Darius is the son of Ahasuerus — the same king that married Esther. Interestingly, it was in the first year of the reign of Darius that Daniel understood that the 70 years of punishment God had given the Jews (as prophesied by Jeremiah) was about to be fulfilled: Daniel 9:1. Like his predecessors, Cyrus was actually an emperor — a king of kings — but his designation in history is “King of Persia”, and Persia is Iran. Daniel 10:1.

Then came the Islamic revolution of 1979 that brought the Ayatollah to power as absolute ruler of Iran. Since that time, Iran has become the worst enemy of the State of Israel. As a matter of fact, Iran is the only nation in the world that has publicly and officially declared that it wants to wipe Israel off the face of the map. Please do not argue blindly about this because it is a fact. And Iran has not bothered to hide this; so don’t waste time doubting the veracity of this statement. The most notable Iranian voice on record in this regard is that of former President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad — President of Iran from August 2005 to August 2013.

On the 30th of October 2005, The New York Times published a full transcript of the speech in which Ahmadinejad said:

“Our dear Imam (referring to Ayatollah Khomeini) said that the occupying regime must be wiped off the map and this was a very wise statement.”

His presidential website also stated that: “the Zionist Regime of Israel . . . will under God’s grace be wiped off the map”. In 1999, a military parade in Iran carried slogans that read “Israel must be wiped off the map” in Farsi and English. Farsi is the official language of the Iranians.

As part of its threat against Israel, Iran has described Israel as a one-bomb state. This is an eerie statement and its real meaning has everything to do with nuclear weapons. What it means is that, because Israel is geographically a small nation, dropping a single nuclear weapon in the middle of Israel will result in enough devastation to sink Israel into the nearby Mediterranean Sea — thus fulfilling Iran’s advertised intention of wiping Israel off the map of the world. Militarily, the other option for Iran is to overwhelm Israel’s missile defense systems by a simultaneous rain of thousands of missiles from different directions. During the recent war Israel had with Hamas (just last year) about 4000 rockets were fired in just 11 days. This was nothing but a military drill to test the capabilities of the Iron Dome – Israel’s highly celebrated missile defense shield for short range missiles. Fortunately, the Iron Dome intercepted nearly all of these 4000 missiles shot from Gaza. Without the Iron Dome and other layers of their defense shield (including the David’s Sling anti-missile system), Israel would have been overwhelmed by now, even without the anticipated nuclear attack from Iran.

It is to increase its fire power that Iran has suffered so much losses and still refused to abandon its desire to establish a foothold in Syria. Iran has remained in Syria at a huge cost because, without a nuclear bomb, Iran wants to be in a position to severely punish Israel if Israel ever dared to attack its nuclear weapons program. This punishment will come in the form of thousands of rocket attacks from Hezbollah in Lebanon, Hamas in Gaza, and Iran in Syria, apart from Shia militias based in Iraq. Israel is well aware of Iran’s desire to turn Syria into what the military refers to as a “forward operating base”. This is why Israel has been adamant about bombing Iranian targets in Syria, in spite of the risks of confrontation with Russia, which is head and shoulders above Israel in terms of military might and currently being hosted by the Syrian government in Syria. As implied in my last breaking news, until last Friday, Russia had tacitly permitted Israel to strike Iran in Syria, even though Russia has over 10000 soldiers stationed there and can easily stop Israel in a variety of ways.

Apparently, things have now changed.

Last Friday, for the first time since Israel began its military campaign against Iran in Syria years ago, Russia used its dreaded S-300 anti-missile weapon system against Israel. I personally think this was a warning shot. When you don’t really want to shoot a target, you deliberately shoot to miss. I believe that Russia could have tracked the Israeli planes that carried out the Friday attack with S-400 missiles if, for the sake of argument, we even assume that the S-300 system was unable to lock onto the planes due to their sheer speed and integrated stealth capabilities. The fact that the Russians fired but missed the planes suggests that they only wanted to warn Israel. So now the red line has been drawn.

What would Israel do?

If Russia had simply supplied Syria the S-300, Israel’s modus operandi would have been to take out the batteries through an airstrike. But Vladimir Putin only permitted Russian soldiers to man the S-300, even though they are deployed in Syria. Israel knows this and Israel will not want to kill Russian soldiers, except in an actual doomsday scenario.

In my analysis of last week’s breaking news, I theorized that Israel will not want to engage Russia directly but that, if Iran keeps building up their arsenal in Syria, Israel may soon become desperate enough to want to do the unthinkable and use their nuclear weapons to destroy Damascus altogether. This, of course, will be a last resort: but it is not impossible. Israel does not keep its 200 nuclear bombs for fancy and they nearly used this stockpile in 1973 under Prime Minister Golda Meir. As any Israeli official will tell you, these nuclear bombs are there to protect the Jewish State and prevent another holocaust. Which was why Israel moved quickly to acquire them (with the help of France) as soon as it became a nation in 1948. The point is that my last breaking news may have been overtaken by this current breaking news. And here is the possible trend for now, going by what Benny Gantz said on Tuesday:

If Israel attacks Iran’s nuclear weapons program, whether or not they are able to cripple the program, Iran will respond in the most aggressive manner possible. First, Iran will no longer feel obligated to abide by any international deal to curtail its nuclear ambition. That means Iran will promptly expel any IAEA inspectors within its borders and move as fast as possible to build a bomb. But that is the easiest part. I have already detailed the rain of missiles Iran will visit on Israel under sufficient provocation. And attacking their nuclear sites is more than sufficient provocation. There could also be attempted assassinations of Israeli diplomats in as many countries as Iran has managed to infiltrate. It will be an all-out war with no holds barred. Some hardline Sunni Islamic nations could also join the fray, just to give Israel a bloody nose. But the real major problem is that Israel’s direct attack on the Iranian homeland may provide Russia enough justification to go against Israel. Iran and Russia are allies and their defense pact may allow for Russian retaliation against Israel in the above scenario.

Things to consider:

The first thing to consider is that Israel has both the political and the military will to strike Iran. In 1981, Saddam Hussein was prevented from developing nuclear weapons through a successful Israeli airstrike that crippled his nuclear weapons program. The same thing happened in Syria in 2007.

The second thing to consider is that, Russia, unlike Iran, is not necessarily theological in its military doctrine. So how do we know what would motivate Russia?

Ezekiel 38 gives a clear indication that Russia will attack Israel for economic reasons. To appreciate the power and knowledge of God, remember that the Book of Ezekiel was written at least 400 years before the birth of Jesus Christ. For many years, students of prophecy have been wondering which economic benefit will cause Russia to invade Israel because Ezekiel prophesied that the Russian-led invasion will be to take a spoil. This has clear economic undertones:

“To take a spoil, and to take a prey; to turn thine hand upon the desolate places that are now inhabited, and upon the people that are gathered out of the nations, which have gotten cattle and goods . . .”

Due to recent happenings, we now know what “spoil” Israel has and which will tantalize Russia enough for Russia to want to take it by force.

Some years ago, Israel suddenly discovered natural gas and now has a gigantic gas field that goes by the name Leviathan. For reasons not clear to me, it costs a whole lot less to buy a cubic meter of Israeli gas than it does to buy Russian gas. Russia is the dominant force in gas globally and I’m sure I don’t need to explain why Russia will feel threatened by the prospects of competing with Israel’s more affordable gas in the international market. And Israel has trillions of cubic meters of this gas under its belly. Israel is already a rich country and a technological superpower, hosting the only other research facility for big companies like Intel and Microsoft. Can you imagine that! So Israeli gas will only make Israel a lot more powerful. The problem is that all of Russia’s friends in the Middle East are staunch enemies of Israel or fair weather friends like Turkey, which can be friends with Israel on Monday and an enemy before Friday. This means Israel is on an inevitable collision course with Russia. Egypt now has peace with Israel. But when they were enemies, it was Russia that was Egypt’s main arms supplier. Now you get the gist.

Why am I putting out this information? If God is so good to open our eyes to understand that He is God and that He is in charge (by giving us prophecies that are now coming true) we must take God seriously about other things He has said in His word. Make no mistake: the soul that sinneth, it shall die. Except your sins are forgiven, God will reluctantly destroy your soul at the end of days. Reluctantly. But He will. He prefers that you confess and receive His blanket forgiveness. As I have stated in past articles, the Ezekiel 38 war has a lot to do with the close of human probation – when repentance becomes impossible. So watch out!

The world is now one giant machine busy with the manufacturing of lies and deceptions. Remember covid? Nowadays, it is very difficult to know exactly what is going on. Even the Ukraine-Russia war is not being accurately reported, especially in the mainstream media. Newscasters dutifully open their mouths and repeat the lies and half-truths their editors have written down for them to read. And if you counter the narrative with verifiable facts, you are branded a conspiracy theorist – or something worse.

For the sale of its gas, Israel has its eyes on Europe and, since 2016, has been engaged (with other countries) in building what is known as the Eastern Mediterranean pipeline, which will transport gas from Israel through Cyprus/Greece to Europe. When Donald Trump sanctioned the Russian-owned Nord Stream 2 pipeline, then German Chancellor Angela Markel asked him where he expected Germany (and Europe) to be buying gas from. Trump simply told Markel to get ready to begin buying gas from Israel. After all, Trump added, Russia is supposed to be an enemy of Europe and it is American money and the American military that is protecting Europe from Russia. So why patronize Russian gas?

To underscore the reality of what I’m saying, please note that, amidst the energy crisis unleashed by the recent Ukraine-Russia conflict, the CEO of Chevron said, in March, that Israel could be an alternative source of gas for Europe. This is very bad news for Russia. And Russia is in a very bad mood with regards to Israel on this score and on others also. So this Eastern Mediterranean pipeline I’m talking about is real. But for reasons best known to him, President Joe Biden stopped American support for the East Med pipeline. Curiously, at the same time, he decided to waive the sanctions Donald Trump had imposed on Nord Stream 2. As if that was not enough, Joe Biden’s party, the Democrats, nearly scuttled the passage of a $1 billion aid package for replenishing the missiles of Israel’s Iron Dome system. In fact, one Congress woman by the name of Alexandria Ocasio Cortez was so pained that Israel was going to receive a billion dollars to aid their defense system she broke down in tears right there inside the US Congress. This blatant anti-Israel sentiments runs through the Democratic Party and the time for pretending that they care about Israel seems to have been over. You are thus left to come face to face with an alarming reality, which is that we now have (inside the White House) an American President who seems to have serious hatred for Israel. It goes without saying that he will not come to Israel’s aid on the day of the Russian invasion. Exactly as the prophet foretold. Israel will be left all by itself. And that is the condition necessary for the prophesied divine intervention.

The Arabs are the descendants of Sheba and Dedan (Ezekiel 38:13) both of whom are great grandsons of Ham, Noah’s third son; Genesis 10:6, 7. According to Ezekiel, these nations will criticize the Russian invasion. Today, largely due to the common threat from Iran, Israel is now friends with most Arab countries. This is fulfillment of prophecy and it happened just a few years ago. Before this new friendship, Saudi Arabia, for example, was so committed to the downfall of Israel they used to pay the families of Palestinian terrorists $25k for any of their family members that strikes Israel in a suicide attack. But, recently, Saudi Arabia initiated talks with Israel to buy Israel’s Iron Dome missile shield for protection from the missile barrage from Yemen, an Iranian proxy. The Saudis have also began investing in Israel and accepting Israeli intel in hitting Yemeni targets, which changed the course of the war. Gradually, Saudi Arabia is coming out of the closet as friends of Israel.

This criticism prophet Ezekiel saw about 2500 years ago appeared impossible because of the hostilities between Israel and the Arab world. It was not clear how Arab nations will be unhappy and critical about an attack on Israel — until recently. And Donald Trump — with the Abraham Accords — had a lot to do with this.

The prophecy of Ezekiel said God Himself will intervene to save Israel. Humanly speaking, it was impossible for any nation on earth to have attacked Israel massively while Donald Trump was in power. The American response would have been out of this world both in quantity and quality. That was why I believed that Trump will be assassinated if he was in the White House during the Russian invasion. But now, the “right” man is in the White House. From his body language towards Israel, Joe Biden, as Commander-in-Chief of the US armed forces, is capable of locking himself in the toilet if necessary just so he will be out of reach long enough to delay an American response and enable the enemies of Israel to finish Israel off. The good news is that we know how the invasion will end. God will bury the invading armies on the mountains of Israel. But note: this has nothing to do with Israel’s righteousness. It is all about demonstrating God’s sovereignty especially to the heathen – those who do not know God.

“And thou shalt come up against my people of Israel, as a cloud to cover the land; it shall be in the latter days, and I will bring thee against my land, that the heathen may know me, when I shall be sanctified in thee, O Gog, before their eyes”.

But feeling emotional about Israel is not the crux of the matter. Repent of your sins so that, when you die or when Jesus Christ returns, you will have the opportunity of seeing God face to face. In my view, there is nothing to be compared with that promised experience.

“Blessed are the pure in heart: for they shall see God”.
