Alibaba, the top comedian in Nigeria, commented on Bobrisky’s detention by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) in a remark that smacks of sarcasm.

Bobrisky, a self-described crossdresser and transgender person, was taken into custody in Lagos on Wednesday night for suspected letter manipulation.

Bobrisky was reportedly arrested for allegedly spray-painting and damaging banknotes during an event.

Alibaba responded by posting a photo of guys stepping on and sprinkling cash notes at a party on his Instagram page.

Sarcastically, the 58-year-old comedian questioned if the EFCC’s inaction against these men was due to their gender.
