BREAKING NEWS: Governor Diri of Bayelsa state emerge as PDP flag bearer

Governor Douye Diri of Bayelsa state has emerged as the flag bearer  of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, for the November 11, 2023 governorship election. 

Announcing the results on Wednesday at Gabriel Okara Cultural Center,  in Yenagoa, Bayelsa state capital, Governor Ademola Adeleke of Osun state and the Chief returning officer for governorship primaries, said Douye Diri  Douye won with 305 votes out of 315 delegates present.
