The day for the so-optimistic Nigeria 2023 general election has finally come, where the fate of the greatest kingdom will be rewritten by another individual among the other contestants under a respective umbrella.

The quests of the discourse is who will succeed the President Muhammadu Buhari, among the notable candidates; which includes Bola Tinubu from All Progressive Congress party (APC); Atiku Abubakar from People Democratic Party (PDP); Peter Obi from Labor Party (LP). Perhaps, who will pilot the affairs of this nation remains unpredictable, individuals heart keeps debating on it.

However, it is necessary to remind the young hearts that no party or a loved candidate is worthy of dying for. Election should be free and fair; rascality and hoodlums should be abstain from. As per the Aristotle’s assertion on what is citizen, he posits “citizen is one who rules and is ruled in turn”. Nigeria citizens can vote and can be voted for, regardless of his/her tribe, religion, socialization, or gender; every man is equal before the law, and each citizen share equal rights and privileges under the citizen’s rights of Nigeria’s constitution.

However, every citizen have responsibility to value and contribute to the growth of the country by making use of their PVC to cast vote for their desired candidate. Voting is the merely power a citizen can use to implement changes in other to subtract the scandal, tyrant and unfaithful representative in our society
